As Nairobi’s skyline stretches ever outward, one quiet address is rising with purpose. This July, Opal Suites reaches a critical milestone: excavation is complete, and we are now in the geo-location analysis phase, laying the groundwork literally for our piling works.

For early investors and future residents, this moment marks the invisible part of the journey: the one where real progress begins before the walls rise.

Construction Update:

From Digging to Defining Structure.

In June, we successfully concluded site excavation. This cleared and shaped the land for structural engineering. We have now entered the geo-location analysis phase, where we map and assess soil conditions to prepare for piling.

Piling involves driving 65 deep foundational columns into the earth, providing support for the vertical structure to follow. It’s one of the most critical steps in ensuring long-term integrity, especially for a mid-rise development like Opal.

What’s Next:

Completion of geo-technical and topographical surveying
Piling to commence in early August
Foundation base slab expected by September
By end of Q3, our build will go vertical floor by floor.
